Privacy Policy

Effective April 21, 2026. MLC Masterclass is operated by Celaya Tattoos LLC("we," "us," "our").

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit mlctattoosmasterclass.com (the "Site"), purchase our course, or sign up for email or SMS communications, and how we use and protect that information.

2. Information we collect

You give us: name, email address, phone number (optional), marketing consent flags, billing details needed to process a purchase, and any messages you send us.

Automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, clicks on emails and links, referring URLs, and cookie identifiers. Some of this is collected by analytics and email‑service vendors on our behalf.

From payment processors: confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card, and the billing country. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles that directly.

3. How we use your information

  • Provide the masterclass, track your lesson progress, and deliver purchased content.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage subscriptions (including split‑pay plans).
  • Send transactional email and SMS (purchase confirmations, account setup, password resets, payment receipts).
  • Send marketing email and SMS when you have opted in — and never when you have not.
  • Measure which emails and campaigns drive sign‑ups and purchases, so we can improve future sends.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. SMS messaging program

When you check the SMS opt‑in box and provide a phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated promotional and transactional text messages from MLC Masterclass. We use a third‑party SMS platform (currently Omnisend, via Twilio) to deliver these messages.

  • Message frequency varies based on the type of update — typically under 4 messages per month for marketing content.
  • Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send a one‑time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed; no further marketing SMS will be sent.
  • Reply HELP to any message to get contact information for support.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • We never share your phone number with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. Opting out of SMS will not affect delivery of transactional emails related to your account or purchases.

5. Email tracking and cookies

We include tracking pixels and click‑through links in our emails that tell us when a message is opened and when links are clicked. This lets us measure which subject lines and content perform best.

On the Site, we use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Keeping you signed in and remembering your progress.
  • Anti‑spam measures on forms.
  • Attributing purchases to the email campaign or referral that led you to us (cookie name: mlc_attr; 30‑day lifetime).
  • Analytics (pages viewed, session duration, aggregate device info).
  • Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel) when we run paid campaigns.

6. Service providers we share with

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Supabase — authentication, database hosting, file storage.
  • Netlify — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Omnisend — marketing email and SMS delivery.
  • Twilio (via Omnisend) — SMS carrier routing.
  • Vimeo — video hosting and playback.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement when we run paid campaigns.

Each vendor accesses only the information necessary to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy and security obligations.

7. Legal basis and retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and to comply with our legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud prevention). Marketing opt‑out suppression lists are retained indefinitely so we do not accidentally re‑contact someone who has unsubscribed.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct or update any inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and associated personal information (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Opt out of marketing email at any time (unsubscribe link in every marketing email).
  • Opt out of SMS at any time (reply STOP).
  • For California residents: rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what we collect and sell (we do not sell personal information), and the right to request deletion.

9. Children

The Site and course are intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information — HTTPS across the Site, encryption at rest with our database provider, limited access to production systems, and regular audits. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be noted on the Site and, where required by law, communicated by email. The "Effective" date at the top indicates when this version became active.
